Chin Implant

Chin implants can enhance your facial contours by creating a harmonizing appearance to the lower third face, while maintaining a natural look.  A chin implant procedure can transform the facial structure by shaping the chin into a more balanced feature with the rest of your face correcting a “weak” or underdeveloped appearance.

The procedure is performed by inserting a solid silicone implant through an incision located under the chin or inside the mouth.  Often, the surgery is done in addition to other cosmetic procedures such as a facelift or brow lift.  The operation is performed under a general anesthesia or local anesthesia with intravenous sedation.  The procedure typically lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, with most patients returning to work within seven to ten days.  Results of this intervention are permanent.
